Hello,
just a brief post to say that I had my stoma reversed about 12 weeks ago. I had had the stoma since November 2021, so for a little over 13 months.
I was worried about the reversal - partly as I guess I had grown used to the stoma - and partly because almost everything I read about the reversal process seemed to highlight potential problems.
I can honestly say I’ve had no issues at all, so please, any of you approaching this point in your treatment cycle, don’t worry.
Oh wonderful news IC228 . I think this is so important to report as it gives better balance for those coming behind . You always wonder if it’s the people that experience problems that are possibly reaching out whereas the people with less issues are moving on . But to take the time to come on here and post this is so encouraging and will give others more insight and perspective. Thank you so much for doing this .
Its just wonderful to know you have come through the tough times and doing so well .
Keep doing well ,
Court
