Really sore mouth and lips

Your poor husband it sounds really horrible. I didn’t have chemo but did have an ulcerative mouth and bought over the counter from Boots adult mouth ulcer gel It worked however you would need to check that it’s safe with chemo. The pharmacist may be able to advice you 
Ice cream also soothed. And mouth wash. But it’s really rotten I remember being near tears and I didn’t have chemo to contend with

I should say we are just waiting on a prescription from the oncologist for my mum . I will let you know what she is offered .

I was recommended Benzydamine Hydrochloride (prescription mouthwash) for inside mouth and Vaseline for lips.
