Hi new to this group,my husband has stage 4 bowel cancer spread to liver, was just reading Michelle’s positive post after surgery,my husband is on his 14 th round of chemo,is been tough going trying to stay positive,he his having separate mri scan on his liver tomorrow to see if any chance of surgery yet
Hi Polka dot
I wish your husband every success with his scan and hope it brings other options for him .
Thats a lot of chemo he has endured but it did the job for my mum and her liver resection was back in 2010 and still clear .
Its a tough time waiting to hear the results but hopefully will be worth it and bring a surgical solution to this .
Hope your holding up yourself . Not always easy !
Take special care ,

Thank you,yes he started treatment about 8 months ago every 2 weeks, has had few problems with the cetaxumab causing rashes, had to stop this week as liver function was high, but don’t know if this is due to starting cetaxumab again for first time in few weeks
My mum has just gone onto that . We are on a steep learning curve with the rash . But only on its own not alongside chemo . He has done very well to only have them raised now !
He has done incredibly well !
Take care ,
