Just touching base to let you know how well Dad's doing. We had an appointment on Monday eith the oncology/chemo clinical team. Results of biopsies of margins around removed tumours showed NO CANCER CELLS. 3 out of 16 Lymph Nodes showed signs of cancerous cells however because Dad is recovering so well, the benefits of 6months chemo are not know & side effects more likely to cause dad issues. Plan is to see the colorectal team in couple weeks & scans / regular checks are the way forward. Such a great team at Addenbrookes and reassuring to have had support on here during my worries over the last few months. Going to stay in touch with you and also hope I can now offer support to people who are facing a journey like mine and dad's xx
