I was due to start Xelox next Tuesday but it’s been postponed as the nurse wants the oncologist to check my bottom wounds. I can’t see the oncologist for a couple of weeks.
I had Aper surgery 12th Dec 2022 and have about 1cm wounds in my bottom. I had radiotherapy prior to my surgery which I understand can make it slower to heal.
Has this happened to anyone else, how long did it take to heal and was your ‘mop up’ chemo postponed?
