Hi, stage 4 colon cancer with double nefhostomy tubes in kidneys and a ostomy as well. Have stop chemo as no longer working. Now last X-ray shows multiple bowels loops in intestines causing pain and slow bowel movements to stoma. Want to insert tube in stomach thru abdomen with a valve. Didn’t really get a clear idea how it works. Can I still eat reg foods will I still be getting enough nutrients if I use the release valve? How does it work when you already have an ostomy?
