Hi Court,
Well I’m off tomorrow on a wee 3 day trip up to Dundee with hubby and one granddaughter in tow.
Im not walking very well at the minute as my right hip is playing up. I’m hoping I’ve just pulled something putting my decorations away as there were a few a bit like Santa's grotto lol. Xx
Seeing your posts on this forum, makes me think that you are a very positive & strong person - which will work in your favour
Not only that, you have a capacity for empathy & care towards others, which is laudable.

Awe thank you Marianne. I think that’s the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me.
I just see me as me lol.
On my first visit to the hospital when the oncologist passed me a box of tissues and I handed them back to him and said I’m not crying I don’t need them he looked quite shocked. But I don’t believe in wasting a minute of my time as it’s even more precious to me now.
How are you doing you ok?. Xx
Cath
Hi Court,
I had a fab day yesterday thank you so much for asking. We arrived at the hotel in Dundee and they let us go in for breakfast lol. Then they came through and said our room was ready this was 10:30 am I thought fab. We went up unpacked, rested for a few hours then we hit the shops. The shops were in for a fright lol so was my purse. Went for dinner then a drink lovely large pink Gin then back to our room. Will be doing it all over again today. Xx

I’m doing fine thanks Cath-just doing some cleaning up before my cleaner comes at 2! Ridiculous really but I like the place to look as decent as possible before she comes.
I’ve now got my new scooter through Motability and my blue badge for parking, so I’m looking forward to more outings and a bit of independence at last. It’s been very difficult being housebound for so long, but now I get excited about getting to the local Co-Op. funny how simple things can give you such a boost!
Sarah xx
Hi all. This is a lovely read. Thanks for sharing
Sarah you’re not alone in preparing for the cleaner. It’s the only time my brother cleans . The night before the cleaner arrives. Bless you.
We have a blue badge for Joes Parkinson’s and it’s made the world of difference
Enjoy getting out and about

I'm fine thank you....Have a wonderful time in Dundee - & don't forget to buy something nice for yourself; you're worth it! x
