I had both today.
In the stoma appointment the nurse was very happy at Syd's progress. Apparently I'm looking after him well! Now I go to three month checkups.
The PCA I was petrified of, however the MacMillan nurse was fantastic, very calming. I came away quite relaxed about the whole thing!
I'm having my pic-line put in on Sunday & the treatment starts Wednesday, six cycles of three weeks. I'll be honest I can't wait for it to be over, but at least I don't feel so depressed.

Well done Sydnbertie. Sounds as though you are really making some good progress there .
Hope chemo is kind to you . Just remember one third of people experience very little symptoms at all . Hope you are in that group .
