Hi Everyone!
Sorry if I seem to be bugging everyone on here with my issues but I've no one else to talk to just now. I had a `major wobble` here yesterday which some of you may have seen and replied to. One week today we will know what the next outcome will be. Jay has more or less said he will go with whatever they decide for him either a nephostromy or stent but will wait and see what the oncologist suggests what can be done. I am assuming that they will start him up on some kind of chemo again once they do what they have to do with his kidneys. He was up he said most of the night going to the toilet with having to take these diuretics the oncologist sent him home with last week and are quite strong and do work so for the fact that he is peeing well is surely a good sign?? He takes one in the morning, and they last for most of the day and into the night. He is drinking a lot because they cause you to have a really dry mouth (probably the purpose of them) but because of a dry mouth his appetite has waned a bit again and he's not eating much he said a lot of food sticks to the top of his mouth inside and everything more or less tastes the same and drinking water out of plastic bottles he said you begin to taste the plastic after a while. He takes the last one of these tablets tomorrow so at least he may get a reprieve from running to the loo to pee every five minutes. Our wee granddaughter is a little bit better today. Phoned our son earlier on as he's on nights this week and he said she's running around again but still has her horrible rash and a little bit of a high temperature still. I'm just still so scared what will be said next week and I know my mind and his will be constantly on it. Going to be a very long week!
