Hi Everyone!
As i've been constantly posting on here since Thursday after Jay's bad news about his cancer- sorry! Can I ask why it could be he is always feeling cold just now even though I have the heating on and it's roasting. He seems really tired too and taking a lot of naps in the daytime he says it's when he feels cold he's tired. He's on a water tablet just now Furosemide? to get rid of his fluid retention- and boy is it working!! he's just making it to the loo and no more. I've read up on the side effects and they said it can cause tiredness and a very dry mouth which he has been having too. He's not on chemo just now because his last cycle made him quite ill and his recent blood tests showed that his kidney function had reduced slightly not much but enough for the oncologist not to give him any more chemo at the moment, and he is going back to see the oncologist a week this Thursday to find out if he will be well enough to continue with the chemo or they may try him with something else. In my paranoid mind, is tiredness serious? Thanks.
