hi there, im wondering how long chemo stays in the body? Im seven months post op and have got a stoma now that Im getting on with just fine.
Most times I feel ok but then today I feel like I have a hangover with a slight headache and feel tired.
I also experience cold, tingly left hand under the tap sometimes and sensitive teeth. Is this ok or should i bother the docs?
Many thanks,
Terry
Hi slash1953
Chemo itself doesn’t stay in the body for long, maybe 2 or 3 days after the treatment, but of course the side effects can linger much longer. Hopefully someone with experience of your chemo can share their experiences of this-I had a different one, so I’m afraid I don’t know know about the lasting effects of your one.
