Not sure how to put this... so
My wife is my whole life when she was diagnosed with colon cancer in May we said we would fight it ,in June she was diagnosed terminal and inoperable and still we will fight it .she went in to a hospice 2 weeks ago for pain relief and we were told she now has a few months, ,it's harder everyday when I come home when she says " don't worry I'll be ok " she is so brave ...I know I have to be strong but its hard ...
Oh my heart goes out to you .
Please feel free to pm me anytime you want to chat . It’s your partner and it’s so tough watching someone you love struggle .
A completely different situation but having spent three weeks watching my dad struggle in hospital before he passed I feel your pain and the constant trying to dig deeper to support them and face the situation when your strength feels depleted and your heartbroken .
Macmillan has a helpline you can chat to ion 0808 808 0000
I am also here to listen any time you need to chat . I have had a few carers reach out to me over the years who just need to have a place where they can say how they really feel .
Thinking of you and standing with you as you navigate this difficult time .
