I'm having a ct scan tomorrow, and have only managed to do 5 rounds of folfox chemotherapy.. As my neutrophils have dropped since round 5. I have stage 4 bowel cancer which has engulfed my liver, and my treatment is palliative. This scan is going to decide if I will have anymore treatment as I have the kras mutation gene, so no other treatment is available.. Should I still have hope that 5 rounds of chemotherapy will have arrested my aggressive cancer.. I was told in June, I had 8 or 9 months to live, but I'm not having it.
