Tony went in for his operation this morning and went down very early.
Fast forward a few hours and the surgeon has rung me to say it all went to plan and they got all the cancer out removing about 10%..they checked his tummy for further spread and all clear..hardly any bleeding to speak of so they are very happy..Tony is in recovery and awake but a bit groggy..he will be on the surgical monitoring ward for the next couple of days..huge relief all round...
