Hi, Im on my second round of chemo after my tumour was removed and they fitted a picc line.
The first cycle was great,a little bit of sickness for a day or two and that was it!
Just had my second cycle and had constipation and am feeling as bad as my very first cycle before the op. They took me off the tablets because I couldnt function.
Im not sure if I want to go on with this? Its been rough for me and my wife over the last 2/12 years, getting over prostate cancer and now this?
I have to be truthful and say that I dont want to end up like a few of my friends ie dossed up,being sick then dying?
Sorry if Im having a moan just fed up with it all now.
Terry
Hi slash1953. Yes please talk to your team - a reduction in dosage can make a huge difference. At the end of the day the choice is yours as to whether to carry on or not - you’ve given it a shot - the doctors gave you the choice about whether to have the chemo or just monitor it so you could always go back to just monitoring and see how it goes.
Take care

Hi Terry
Feel free to moan here. It’s the one place that is fine you’re not moaning really you’ve had so much to process and sometimes it’s good to release it so you can cope with what’s happening
Can your oncologist recommend something to help with the constipation that won’t make you feel awful?
I hope that things settle. Keep talking if it helps
Ann
