my plan for summer is lots of family time. And hoping the summer comes and stays.

Process

Flying visit to Newstead Abbey today, home of Lord Byron,  lovely and quiet, hope to go once more before my op, this is the lower lake, the water lilies are just starting to flower.

Gemmary it just seems like you are simply giving yourself permission to just be where you are right now and how kind is that to yourself, sometimes we all need a reminder to ourselves that’s it’s ok and we are ok.

Hope those in hotter parts are coping ok !

Rain here today too, in small showers, but big raindrops!

Not looking forward to the weekend

Well managed the race for life again on Sunday, but was tooo hot. Pleased with the hour for 5k, hoped for quicker, but heat and fatigue against me.

At least our hay got baled on Friday, now all moved here. That was hot enough!! It's at a friends field. We row it up, farmers bale and wrap.

How are we all coping ?

The heat has pushed up north and we are having a beautiful but very warm day !

Lots of hydrating on the go .

I’m melting! Even in the shade the air seemed too warm! Ended up lying on the bed with the fan on and a good book! x
