Terminal colon cancer, separated blockage

I am so sorry to hear about your wife . Are you caring for her at home ?

Blockages can be tricky . Has her surgeon seen her and advised about diet etc ? Some people get surgical intervention if required and there are ways of helping if diet does not resolve it .

Glad to hear they are monitoring her .

We have just hear that mum wife has a very high calcium level, we are now awaiting for the docs report, any one have an advice??

Ok in her self ,they are doing there best for the pain but I read that having high calcium levels can mean the cancer is now in the bones ??

Hi ,

I think there are other reasons  too . Bowel cancer can on occasions go to the bones but it is quite rare . That’s my limited understanding . People who have bone mets do still have treatment options . Some people have used radiotherapy well in that situation.
