Chemo side effects

Hi I was wondering if anyone on capox treatment has had bad heartburn .I’ve tried taking the usual things the helpline suggested .

mint tea doesn’t help but I’m about to make my own with fresh mint .

I just wish all these horrible side effects would go away .what foods should I be eating so I can minimise it happening .I feel I’m too scared to eat now incase I make it worse .

Hi I was given something for it by the chemo team but cant for the life of me remember what it was called.It worked a treat tho.do ask your team as Im sure they can give you something

Thats ok.how many sessions of capox are you having?.I had 4.rounds.

I lived on omeprazole all through my chemo , really helped . Hope you start feeling better soon X

They told me they’d start me off with 4 .I’m a week into my second one .I’m having a ct scan next Friday I only have 4 cycles .They reduced the tablets to 6 from 8 but the side effects are just as strong when on 8 a day . But I’m keeping positive despite it all
