Can anyone tell me what to except from radiotherapy for lung cancer thanks
Hi Annabell. I think you might be better posting this in the lung cancer board? I had radiotherapy for bowel cancer and found it very doable. Others have suffered from fatigue and loose bowels but presumably that wouldn’t affect you? Sore skin can be an issue but the radiographers will give you a cream to use for that.
The actual process is painless and involves lying on a hard table while they line the machine up then the treatment takes about 5 minutes and you’re done.
