Not been on here for a while, post op 3 weeks had my ovaries out because of large mass that had spread from my bowel cancer also they've said I have inoperable small bowel cancer and I' now have a oma because my ovary was stuck to my bowel also I was in for HIPEC but it didn't go ahead because they was too much disease to say I'm depressed is a under statement! Not been told much just I'm bei
considered for more chemotherapy, just wondering if anyone as had a similar experience.

So sorry to hear that . You have been through a lot in a short period of time and it takes time to find your feet after such a set back .
Can I just ask if you have a braf mutation ? Another member here had more success with second line chemo than first so just wondered if you have that mutation . There is apparently an oncologist who is pretty up on these things and the Bowel cancer U.K. Facebook group seem to have that information if you are interested in a second opinion .

It can be good to know some details if you want to consult with an oncologist to see if all options are being covered .
Although there were times my mum needed to concentrate on her well being and handed that aspect over to us . Which I totally understand too !
