Hi I'm jo , I'm waiting to meet the oncology team nxt wk to talk about my chemotherapy and what I'm going to be having , I was just wondering how I'm going to be feeling and the effects of chemo , although I have been told chemotherapy for bowel cancer isnt as aggressive as other chemotherapy
Hi Jospongebob. I was about to link you in to our thread about chemo but I see that Court has already done it on another thread. Because everybody reacts differently to chemo it’s hard to predict how you’re going to find it but there are lots of pills and potions to combat the side effects and the nurses will keep a close eye on you. It helps to keep a bit of a diary as a reminder and also you may find that a bit of a routine develops so you might find that the first couple of days after the infusion are a bit rough but you feel better on your ‘week off’ so you can plan something nice
Take care and keep posting if there’s anything in particular that you’re worried about
