Hello everyone, I'm Anise and I don't know if I'm doing this right or not but I will see if anyone replies. Was diagnosed with low rectal cancer over a year ago and was told it was terminal. Am still receiving chemo, next one 'the 19th!' Will continue as long I can cope with it and as long as it works so hopefully longer than the 2 years I've been given but don't think so. Won't post anymore today as I need to see if I'm doing this right. Hope someone replies so I know I'm doing this right.
Hi and welcome to the board. Yes you’re doing it right! Wow 19th chemo - that’s no mean feat. It’s hard not knowing what the future holds but all you can do is keep on keeping on. I’ve heard people on the bowel cancer uk board on long term chemo referring to it as ‘living with cancer’ which I think is a great attitude.
Anyway I’m glad you’ve found us and we’ll support you anyway we can
Take care
Karen x
