Could you get away with using any of the temporary sprays/touch up sponges available on the High Street?
Reading that advice seems to imply that it is the unpredictability as to how damaged hair might take to the hair dye
i dont see it as a contraindication to your chemo etc I know I coloured my hair soon after breast cancer chemo in 2013 as I didn’t like the amount t of grey that came thru and I’ve dyed it at least once on my 5FU regime. Unsure about oxaliplatin but for my self confidence and to feel good about myself … I haven’t hesitated and my hair didn’t suffer :)
