Stopped bleeding after two weeks

Hubby had been bleeding maroon blood ( you're probably all sick of the sound of me now ) for two long weeks

Fit test - 400

Dark coloured stool - bad smell - dragging feeling in stomach - blood when wiping

Yesterday he said his stool wasn't 100% . More pasty but no blood when he wiped

Today everything is back to normal

No stomach dragging. No blood. Normal colour stool

Is this a good sign. If it was cancer would it just stop like this ?

He had a ct scan yesterday . Colonoscopy next thursday

The tests will show if he has cancer. I had cancer and I didn’t bleed like your husband.
Try to stop worrying as he’s now in the care of the bowel team they will find out what’s caused it and if it’s cancer they will treat it.

Hi Worried03 , completly understand the worry your going through , and it’s the waiting for the results is the hardest thing . The good thing is he’s having the tests . There are so many different symptoms to all sorts of bowel problems so fingers crossed it’s nothing but it’s good to know he’s having all the thorough tests to see what’s going on ,

Its good that you are now in the system and will soon have some results.then you can get on and treat whatever the problem is.
