Big welcome to Spring !
Hope your all doing ok . Lots to process right now for some having treatment , finding their feet after treatment and a world that needs a lot more kindness in it .
Looking forward to seeing your signs of Spring photos to cheer us all up .
If your having a pancake, enjoy !

Thanks for this Court. I’m definitely looking forward to some milder weather and hopefully some blue skies.
I’m unfortunately just back from St Ives so my photo was taken in February so I haven’t put it up although we did have gorgeous weather.
The word Pancake has just taken a completely new meaning now that I have an Ileostomy.
It really made me chuckle.

Roll on summer ,lighter nights . My photo was taken in a recent visit to Looe .it helped with my anxiety to paddle in the sea .brrr . Oh btw I’m a newbie .Hello xx
Welcome Janglejones just had a read if your profile. Do you have a date through for surgery ?
Great to hear you paddled in the sea . I never tire of seeing the sea . Love it and spend lots of time in it . After my mum’s first bowel and liver resection she celebrated by sea kayaking .
So glad you joined in the chat and look forward to more of it moving forward .
Take care ,

Morning all. Well I totally forgot it was pancake day so we had salmon! What does everyone have on their pancakes? My husband is from Lincolnshire and he has orange juice on his (which I’d never heard of) whereas I’m from Yorkshire and we have lemon juice and sugar (which he’d never heard of!)
We’ve had some pretty wet and windy weather lately but the daffs are battling their way through and I think there may be some tulips to come. We have a couple of hawthorn (I think) trees in the garden which are just coming into blossom which look pretty.
Hip replacement for me next Monday - never thought I would look forward to an operation but the pain and limping has gone on for long enough now and I would like to get my life back.
Take care everyone
Karen x
Hello court
yes my date for surgery is 7th March . So not long now . Trying to keep anxieties at bay x I didn’t make any pancakes this year & but I’m a sugar & lemon fan
I am a lemon and sugar person too !
Decided to do an Artsie and ran away for two days to Loch Rannoch . Big open fires and forest walks . Just in case you all fancy a wee Scottish holiday . Think a lot of the staff were off with covid but we made the necessary allowances.
Anyone playing quordle ? Even more addictive than wordle !
The good thing about being dyslexic, I always had to play round with language. Seems it helps with theses games . Perfect game during a treatment or hospital appointment .
Have a good day !

Good luck @karen62, hope all goes well x
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Sent you a PM Karen . Never noticed the date on your post ! We shall miss your input for a few days but send our very best wishes for your surgery and know it will be worth it in the long run !
More mobility and less pain sound like a better combination for summer !
However we will miss you around here for a few days ! You are one of life’s givers !
Thank you also to seaspirit44 for noticing and hope you are doing ok !
Take care ,
