i have rectal cancer and after my second chemo i have severe pain around left collar bone and in back.. is it normal? and tramadol doesnt really help
Hi , do you have a 24 hour no you can ring ? I remember feeling chest pain when I was on chemo tablets . Completely freaked me out . After a trip to a&e turned out to be acid reflux . Chemo is strong stuff and you can get scary side effects . I remember phoning the help line a lot . You can talk to an oncologist and they will reassure you . Take care x
You definitely need to get that checked out . Some chemotherapy interferes with the heart and any symptoms that could mask as angina need to have a quick intervention just to be on the safe side .
NHS 111 or your chemo helpline need to know about it .
All the best but better to be safe ,
