Some people think that once treatment is over "thats it"

Even 2 yrs  on I still struggle mentally, whether it is the cancer or a combination of that and lockdown I dont know.certainly covid couldnt have come at a worse time for me.just when I was hoping for the good times.

Apsolutly Katz51. I think covid has made us feel more alone . We’ve had to go through treatment and follow up appointments and scans on our own . I remember going through my infusion chemo treatment in oncology centre with no one to talk to . The nurses where lovely but it would of been great to hold a loved ones hand . I had nothing but my own thoughts . Take care XX

Yes Kath. 
Covid has made everyone isolated with their thoughts. It’s stopped the spontaneity’s in our lives. Everything takes more planning and by the time it’s planned I think do I want to go somewhere and someone breathe on me. For goodness sake it’s ridiculous but I can’t get that out of my mind. Sure I’m loosing the plot. I wouldn’t have given it a second thought before. Oh and another thing if I see someone that knows my circumstances both my hubby and I are vulnerable THEY STEP BACK like I’m contaminated. I know they’re trying to protect us but it’s made me paranoid. 
oh I feel so much better now I’ve grumbled.

I remember a program on TV ages ago. Grumpy Old Men I think it was called. They later did grumpy women. It was famous people grumbling and I used to find it hilarious not realising that I would turn into one. 
It’s official I’m a grumpy old woman.
