I am due to retirement in August not sure was to do as have scans in Bupa if I leave work I will not have this benefit. I hope the surgeon can do NHS reffereal. I am just so scared
Hi Blackpudding. It’s normal to be worried but once you have a treatment plan in place then things will honestly feel a bit better. Are you seeing the bupa consultant tonight or the nhs? I’m pretty sure the treatment will be the same and the end aim will be the removal of the tumour to leave you cancer free.
Ive attached a link to the booklet which I was given at my first meeting. There’s lots of people on here going through treatment and we’ll all be happy to support you through this - it’s tough but doable.
