I recommend getting professional help from a psychiatrist or counsellor.  They can help determine a route out whether it’s medication, counselling or other treatment.  The worst thing about depression is it can rob you of hope, but please try to have hope even if you can’t believe it right now. I am currently seeing a therapist which is helping even though when I first signed up I actually had no faith it would help.  Dealing with cancer is a traumatic thing and can put anyone into a sustained terrible sadness.  Beginning steps can include trying to eat well, take walks and get fresh air, see friends.  All best wishes to you.

  • Hi Shelly. I just wanted you to know that you’re not on your own

I am not sure where you are on your cancer journey but the ups and downs of that road are so stressful.
Covid has caused the procedures , diagnosis and treatment even more of an  anxious time.
Can you tell us a little about what’s happening. I’ve found sharing my thought and worries here really helped
