Haven't been on in a while my pesky scar line is playing up there's a small area pin head size that won't heal I'm having it dressed it's very frustrating!
My hair has gone awful I finished chemo in July last year it went thin and hadn't really recovered I have a bald patch on tbe front,I've tried several shampoos I use to have lovely thick hair,my hairdresser is coming on Thursday to give it a little tidy up.
How long can chemo take to leave your body ?
My tooth broke yesterday so need to sort that out.
This cancer and chemo have a lot to answer too.
Hi HazG
I think give it a bit more time . A lot of people are not aware but surgery itself can cause hair loss by itself . I think it’s the body’s trauma response but only my own reasoning . Then chemo on top of that process .
I used to notice a bit at the side of my mum’s hair was thinned right out . She has a wonderful head of hair that needs cut once a month . This seems to now have gone now and is as thick as the rest of her hair . I could see her scalp quite clear but not any more .
Good to hear from you and you go sound as though you are getting yourself ready for Spring !
Take care ,
Court
