Had my 3 monthly scan, since my April operation for permanent stoma. All going well. This scan showed something on my liver, oncologist says very very small so have an mri on Sunday morning to check. Also must meet a urilogist as still slight bleeding. Then my husband today has tested positive for covid. He is 83 this year but fit. Just the shock that the test was positive as we are so careful. Honestly I’m getting exhausted. As so many people are at the moment. Thank you for listening x

    Thank you Gemmary. X

  • hope your husband is doing ok . A few parents of my friends have tested positive recently but actually handled it quite well . I hope your husband is the same . It’s hit our household too after two years ! My son is unaffected really .

I totally understand you feeling overwhelmed. I think we are really for some better days and they will come .

All the best for your MRI and I am hoping it gives you some relief of this worry .

    Take care ,

Thank you Court. Yes it’s flying through Dublin as so many people got together to watch the rugby. Having mri on Sunday morning, shows the backlog. So I’m hoping it’s a cyst.

  • Hoping so too !

I will be thinking of you and especially since you have a history of them .

  • Hi Helen,

When my husband had scans for his Colon cancer they 'found something on his adrenal gland'. I had to look up where that was, even, just above the kidneys. We had to have that checked out. Turns out they are not worried. It could have been there all his life!!! Good luck.

  • Oh No. my son works in Kilkenny Hospital.
I haven’t seen him for two years.

I did wonder about the match. His friends all go.

    I hope you’re both okay.

Im so fed up with Covid it’s spoiling everything

I hope your scan is clear and you husband isn’t too ill with it

Thank you Artsie Ann, he is doing well. Just this upcoming scan. It’s always good news mixed with a question. Your son is living in a beautiful part of the country. Yes, they were all out for the match. I hope you will visit Kilkenny and Dublin soon. xxx
