Welcome to February and signs of Spring approaching.

This means a lot to me as my mum always did the bulk of her treatments in the lead up to Christmas and would be just finishing off in February and given time to recover , rest and watch Spring approach . Now I enjoy each little bulb . The snowdrops have arrived .

This bouquet came with the bulbs on so you can replant them !

This kind of works for me .

Morning Court. What a great idea for the flowers. My bulbs are popping up but I’m resisting the urge to use the Plant App then it will be a nice surprise. I’m going to try and remember to take photos of what comes up where this year! I love that it’s starting to get a bit lighter on an evening and hopefully once I get my hip done then I can start to get out walking again.

What a lovely photo it’s a shame we can’t smell them. The scent of fresh flowers there’s nothing like it.

Happy February to everyone at last Springs showing itself and we can enjoy some milder weather.

That sounds like a brilliant idea for a bunch of flowers! Am I the only one who tries to grow the bits you cut off the bottom of carnation stalks? My vases are all quite low, so usually get at least 3" cut off. Occasionally I remember to plant them out!!!

I’ve learned something new. I’ve never thought of planting the ends. I’ve always just recycled. My vases were short and my friends know I like fresh flowers so I went around the charity shops buying tall vases. Had fun buying and felt good helping charity.

Just heard from the hospital. I'm NED no evidence of disease. Histology was clean and apart from monitoring for the next five years I'm done. Phew.

That will be really interesting Kareno62 . We are going to attempt to move a few things into better places this year . Not sure if we will succeed or a big fail on the way . We really have to Google everything as we have not got a clue but we love it just the same .
