Hi. New here.
Recently saw a consultant who said that after examination found a lump on my bowel which cancerous.
Ive had an MRI & CT scan and have a colonoscopy next week.
I,m so worried, have symptoms of regularly having to go to toilet , often with very little coming out but always very runny, often with blood & mucus. I also suffer with severe stomach cramps.
Could anyone give me any advice & normally how long after ct scan will i get results?
Many thanks.
Hello Neilga
Thought I’d say hello and if you click on my name you can read my bio. There’s lots that have written up their stories.
mine was two weeks however i was an anxious wreck and I phoned my colonoscopy nurse Anneka as my diagnosis moved to different tests I had a nurse on that dept. My final one colorectal nurse is still there for me now.
Hopefully you can contact them to discuss next steps or what’s happening. my MDT met on Fridays so I had another two weeks before the discussed my treatment plan.
This is the worst part. The waiting it’s torture.
Please don’t go on Dr GOOGLE.
