Having been told my Cancer is terminal I am getting on best I can.
My cancer journey was mainly constant diarrhoea, 24/7 type diarrhoea.
This morning I felt a degree of jubilation with basically normal looking waste in the toilet bowl.
But I soon realised it was irrelevant really but nice to see anyhow.
But hey ho that’s life.
Best get on with it.

When cancer has been determined as 'terminal,' I have noticed that this diagnosis has been given to so many others on this site - who are still here & posting many years later. Of course, great idea to get a bucket list together & go for it (Something all of us should do anyway!) There's always possibilities of new treatments.
In the meantime....you talk of Diarrhoea problems. Might sound stupid, but a pack of Jelly Babies really do work to help with this problem.
Many best wishes

Marianne 26, please tell me more.
Jelly babies?
It would be wonderful if they really help.
Please get back to me.
Thanks,

'Apparently' the gelatin can help 'slow the bowel down.' (Don't get the sugar free ones though.) Marshmallows I believe work the same. It's perhaps worth a try...& they certainly won't hurt you. I just happen to eat lots of them (Waitrose.) simply because I love them. I have found that when I have bouts of loose bowel movements...coffee & eggs are my enemies. Not sure why with eggs - but the caffeine in strong coffee is often to blame. Also, after having a left hemicolectomy - when they remove so much bowel - everything tends to go through the system much faster than normal (So I've been told.)
Let me know if you try the jelly babies!
Lots of good wishes

Marianne 26 Thanks for your quick reply.
I will certainly give Jelly babies a try.
I did a fairly comprehensive check on food eaten and problems experienced, but found sometimes one food was bad and next time okay.
I take Codeine now under doctors supervision ( supposedly ) but I don’t know if it helps to be honest.
Its more a case of what would I be like without it.
Along side Codeine I take Imodium.
It will be Monday before I get a chance to get some Jelly Babies.
I will let you know how things work out.
Cheers for help.
