Are we allowed to name brands?.if so can say what was recommended to me when my hair fell out on capox.

Maybe court knows the rules

People quite frequently name skincare brands . If there is a problem they will just remove it . I think it’s ok to share your own experiences .

Hi I was recommended to use Watermans shampoo and conditioner.it was the staff at the post chemo beauty day.They also said to only wash hair once a week if possible whilst it was still a bit weak.

Hi Mandem,

I haven't had chemo, but suffer with chapped hands in the winter. I have tried all kinds of hand creams, cheap and pricey ones, but the only one that sorts my hands out is Boots baby cream!! That's not cheap, but it works for me. xxx

I used shampoo/ conditioner and hair dye from here and and no problems with skin irritation at all whilst on and off cap.

Hi Mandem.

I had chemo tablets (Capecitabine). The worst side effect I had was hand and foot syndrome. My hands and feet peeled and cracked. I tried Udderly Smooth cream but found it very runny. The best cream I found was Dermalex Repair + Restore. I bought it from Boots. Whatever cream you decide on, it needs to contain urea.
