Hi. I had a tumour removed from my bowel in November, it was quite straightforward. I have recently started chemo in tablet form.
I usually dye my hair but have been told I can’t now.
my skin is very dry and flaky. Can anyone recommend a skin cream and shampoo please. I have tried to research it but it’s American advice that comes up. Thanks
I used shampoo/ conditioner and hair dye from here and and no problems with skin irritation at all whilst on and off cap.

skin cream the nurse recommended udderly which you can get on Amazon: Udderly Smooth Moisturising Cream
hope this helps?
Hi Mandem.
I had chemo tablets (Capecitabine). The worst side effect I had was hand and foot syndrome. My hands and feet peeled and cracked. I tried Udderly Smooth cream but found it very runny. The best cream I found was Dermalex Repair + Restore. I bought it from Boots. Whatever cream you decide on, it needs to contain urea.
Take care
Kim
Thanks for that, at the moment all I have is dry skin. How soon did you get the hand and foot syndrome ?
