No follow up appt?

Morning all,

So my mom had a text last week to say she is booked in for her op 4th Jan yet has not received a letter for a consultation should she phone up her CT scan was on the 3rd.

Hi . It may be that her scans aren’t back yet but no harm in ringing her support nurse in case a letters got delayed in the post?

Just had the letter it sounds rather an consultation than the op so my mom is just upset now she has to wait longer :(

Hi . Yes it sounds like it will be a consultation when they’ll hopefully have the scan results back and discuss the treatment plan with her. I know it’s hard waiting but having all the information in place will allow them to give her the best treatment x

Have you thought about contacting her specialist nurse now as that’s a long time to wait .

Hi all, she's had a call from the nurse it hasn't spread so at least that's a plus:)

Excellent news . That’s the main thing and they will get her ready for her pre op and be cancer free in the New Year . That’s great .
