You need to call the hospital and ask for the surgeon’s secretary. Ask for the surgeon to call you asap. I wouldn’t read anything into it until you have heard from the surgeon x

Totally agree with . Sounds like a mix up in the paper work . Have been on the other end of that news I think you would have been made aware of it . They do not sugar coat it .

I rang hospital but it was not the right time to desk  as it was too late.  Ward night sister just referred me back to my gp. Have arranged a call back with them . But will try surgeon during his hours. Thank you

Hope it is a mix up.  They have mixed everything else up. Sent him home with no tablets or dressings.  They literally have told me nothing so fingers crossed. Just nice to have chat in this forum, shows you,re not on your own thankz

This sounds like a mix up, forget the ward sister and the GP, ring the hospital and ask to speak to the surgeons secretary or the stoma care team, 

I have now spoken to gp stoma nurse, ward manager and colorectal nursing specialist. It was all a mistake and they have apologised and fully explained why the mistake happened. He is doing really well and I m feeling much relieved.. Hope it doesn,t happen to anyone else it's devastating   but all sorted now. Thank you everyone x

Oh Parsia, what a dreadful mix-up to happen and how stressful for you!  So pleased it was a mix up though, hope you can relax a little now and your husband continues to do well.
