Hi everyone I had chemoradiotherapy in January a 5 week course before surgery it left me with a tingling numbing feeling across my bottom cheeks consultant had said it can happen as radiotherapy can damage the nerves but last night the feeling has started to move down the back of 1 thigh I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this x
I dont know if this is similar, but when I was on capox I woke up one morning with a numbness down the back of my right thigh. It didnt wear off so I rang the hispital who told me to come in to the day ward.they kept me there most of the day and came to no conclusions except that" it was one of those things"it did gradually wear off over 24 hrs and I never had it again.
Hoping that yours does something similar.side effects of these treatments do vary and arnt always the ones they tell you about.eg I lost my hair on capox.havent heard of anyone else who had that side effect.
All the best
Kath
