People on here often talk about stomas being upset. How do you know if one is upset?
We are trying to work out exactly what my husband had the other day, a blockage or something he ate.
Well, he is still in hospital with an NG tube in. Loads of stuff has come out through that, then last night the stoma burst into action and 7 bags came off!! The consultant seemed very excited, but we don't know what it all means! We'll wait and see!! He is allowed cups of tea tomorrow, so doubt he will be out for Christmas! I don't care as long as they sort him out!!
I'm doubting it very much. He is only on cups of tea tomorrow and I think they will want to see food going in and the stoma working after all the trouble he had initially. I'm happy with that.
