This day last year I was told you have cancer and its quite a substantial tumor,I was bored jn for surgery on Jan 7th but that was cancelled due to covid so finally 22nd Jan I was admitted into hospital, had surgery on the Wednesday afternoon and was discharged on the Friday morning due to covid been on the ward ! I don't know how I did it but I got home and was carried upto bed.
10 weeks later I went throughfour months if grueling chemo worst time ever I was so poorly I just didn't want to go on chemo was stopped at cycle 5 and I was referred back to my surgeon.i went to see him in November and he was very pleased arranged a ct scan I then went into anxiety overload k reacted to the contrast my face blew up I looked like i had been in the sun for a month and tbe itching is unbearably frustrating.
But I was given the all clear yesterday exactly a year on what a year especially after 2019 I almost died with a perforated bowel sepsis I spent 5 months in hospital three in ICU on life support.i thought I'm through it I've survived just started to get my life back and boom cancer decided to visit me the remaining bowel the rest you all know.
So yes a year can make a massive difference.
Xx
