I wondered if my reaction to the Moderna booster jab was just one of those things.
However I have now discovered that the reaction to it seems common.
I’d like to hear if there's anyone here that has not had a reaction. I haven’t found one in my village or family so it’s very concerning that people with cancer could be offered this.
Hi SarahSerena
16th November. I still have to take some paracetamols for a headache.
first reaction was night sweats very painful arm. Headache that was unbearable and tablets didn’t touch. Shakes and shivers. Probably a nasty flu type reaction.
my hubby was worse. My sister has a racking cough as well
When my hubby went to pick up his meds at our pharmacy he was in a queue and was surprised at the conversation about the Moderna.
I am going to contact my Doctor about it. Well that’s a joke as my Dr is not available but I will log our reaction and request not to have it again. AZ and Pfizer please for me.

I was poorly after my booster. My 2 original jabs were Astra Zeneca but my booster was Pfizer. As I'm having immunotherapy I have to report in every little change in my health so when I got a crashing headache and started being sick I called the registrar who sent me to A and E. To be fair as soon as I mentioned my treatment at reception I immediately jumped the long queue and went into triage where to my shock they announced straight away they were going to test me for sepsis! After 4 hours of blood tests and having my vitals checked the doctor concluded that I'd had a reaction to my booster.
My friend had the same reaction . Two AZ then booster with Pfizer . In bed for a week being sick. She tolerated the first two very well . No other health issues !
I just delayed mine to get over a cold .

This is really interesting. On the surface I thought that in my family circle the Moderna booster floored us as the eldest members had Pfizer and they’ve been bouncing around saying. I’m fine, however this is showing that it may just be that the booster can sometimes cause a reaction.
