Hi All,
I feel this is a frivolous question, but would like some ideas if anyone has any!! My husband would love a mince pie, but I know currants are a no no with a stoma. I wondered if I could sieve the mincemeat, but that leaves just a liquid. Could I blitz the mince meat? Would that be OK? I don't want any blockages. Would love to hear from seasoned stoma users!!!
Thanks for all your imput. He is 7 weeks from surgery, and has a bag that opens at the bottom.
He doesn't need chemo as the consultant says the disadvantages outweigh the advantages in his case. Just hope he is right!!!
