Of course it is remember our helpline staff are there to chat to if you need someone 0808 808 0000. The night before is horrible for these things , all so many unknowns but they are going to take great care of you and we will be here to hear how you got on and cheering you on from the side lines .
Its the first step in dealing with this disease and this time tomorrow the chemo will be going straight to those cells to do their job .
Very normal I think! My husbands hands were shaking as he went in but within 10 mins he was fine! The staff were amazing and he said it wasn’t as bad as he expected. You’ll be fine but do tell the staff it’s your first one and I’m sure they’ll keep checking on you!
