Bowel tumour removed in March .. liver mets discovered sept .. 2cm tumour.. because of one thing and another and time getting pet scan results.. I only got results couple weeks ago, now I’ve got small spots in bowel.. they are hoping it’s nothing but due to a fall , now in crutches for groins strain, colonoscopy is off till 24th.. I’m worried about liver tumour growing and being left with no treatment… need a bit reassurance that this time lapse isn’t a big deal , also how things will change if spots are tiny cancers ….
anyone had these issues

Hi I don’t really know but my understanding is small polyps in colon, even if cancer can be easily removed in colonoscopy. So I would try not to worry too much. My husband had both colon and liver cancer, and was worried waiting 2 months for scans but even though he has a very aggressive form of cancer his surgeon told him not to worry… it wouldn’t grow that fast. Perhaps do ask your team directly about your situation …. ️
Thank you I’m calling my nurse tomorrow, to ask , it’s hard time being in limbo

Hi court , been a rough few weeks, waiting on pet scan results took 3 /4 weeks , that was scary , thankfully all was clear just spots in bowel , consultant was too fussed but wants to make sure it’s ok …just when I was getting bk to normal and no chemo I had this fall ! Liver tumour is next hurdle… I’m sure I’ll be fine just feeling bit lonely, one minute you are in the throws of stuff then you are set aside
