Hi just wondering is anyone living on there own and how are they coping iv got to go back to my flat soon and starting chemo next week
Hi . Just carry on as you did before. Chemo affects everybody differently so there’s no guarantees as to how you’ll feel but please don’t over worry about it. Yes you might feel a bit queasy for a couple of days but take the tablets that they give you. If you feel tired, have a nap or a couple of hours on the settee watching a film. Wrap up well if you go outside and wear gloves when getting things out of the fridge or freezer.
Chemo can be tough but try to carry on as normal unless you really can’t - sometimes the expectation can be worse than the actual event
Take care
