Has anyone had to wait 2 weeks for chemotherapy because of low bloods

  • This is quite common in bowel cancer ! With the bowel tumour bleeding it causes anemia  and they like to deal with that before starting chemo !

Have you been feeling tired ?

  • Hello Winst8,

I had 4 weeks (should have been 2) between my 1st and 2nd cycle of chemo due to low neutrophils.  They reduced my dose to 80% for the rest of the cycles and that seemed to do the trick.  Hope your bloods recover soon, you don't want to be having chemo when your body can't cope with it.

    Take Care,
