Hi everyone, today was my 1st cycle, (Folfiri + cetuximab )been a long day, was at hospital for 9 this morning, got home about 4/15, up to now i feel fine, came home had a cuppa & some soup, fingers crossed it stays down, i have a anti sickness tablet to take tonight, hopefully it be ok, i go back thursday to have bottle removed, then done until a week later, as im 1 week on & 1 week off for treatment, but at least i know now what to expect, and i have all you lovely ppl to keep me going, its good to know you are here to answer any questions i may ask, hoping everyone is feeling good too on this journey, Ty hugs to all xx
Oh I’ll stick with it now don’t know what I’ve done but seems ok now bless you though.. am ok onclogist nurse rang told me pet scan showed tiny uptake on liver so she thinks onclogist needs to explain what happens next was due my lung resection but anytime but they decide what happens next !! Anxiety been awful better this evening as I sort of know what he wants to chat about … thanks for being there xx
Hi nan-nan,
Well done getting through your first chemotherapy. You’ll be pleased it’s over and went OK and you now have an idea of what to expect. The stress of the unknown is very tiring as well as the chemo so you’ll be glad to get to bed tonight. I had a different chemo to you and found the forth day was when I started feeling worse, hopefully you’ll sail through. Take it easy and rest when you need to.
