Thank you.
I have never read the Community News Blog....Just wondering why the post here. Are you expecting others on this site to contribute further on this topic?

Hi Marianne26
Thank you for your response.
If you felt comfortable in doing so, then certainly.
We post about Community News Blogs to raise awareness.
We also hope we might spark conversations between members who might otherwise not connect.
Hope this answers your question.
Kindest Regards,
Tom

I have been a member of this site since April '19 which has helped me through my personal cancer journey. I have always found that conversations between members here have been invaluable, & the connections have been very helpful. Hopefully for all - that visit this site. I also think that the connections have been very strong. It's the place I always return to - either for help, or for giving any personal advice to others, through my own experience.

Hi Marianne26,
Thank you for taking the time to share this in a comment.
Your kind words about the Community are exactly what we hope for.
I'm sure many others will benefit from you continuing to share your experiences and of course you offering support.

Thanks Tom At first when I was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer I had second thoughts about joining this site .You have to look past the name and go for it .Every one that is on this page is no longer a name now a friend that you don't have to see to know that their there for you and understand what is like. Court and Artsie stand out and enjoy my sense of humour. If I put a smile on faces
Keep up the good work
Tom and Aldan,
Tom a big thank you for your support when I was definitely wobbling. You all do an amazing job here at Macmillan. I don’t know where we’d be without this.. well I do know I wouldn’t be where I am now so quickly.
Aldan like you I wasn’t sure I was able to join but the curiosity got the better of me. Now I don’t think about the Cancer word it’s friends helping each other, and B & N are still my favourites. You’ve got a great sense of humour..

It's wonderful to read that you feel this way. We always hope the Online Community can be a source of support but hearing real stories of it helping people is something more than hope.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment and keep up the good work in making people laugh!
