Hi everyone hope your all ok I'm finally starting my chemotherapy on Friday 5th Nov yay fingers crossed I'm hoping someone can give me advice my birthday is on the 7th and iv got to granddaughters and my daughter who I like to see now and again but worried I know my daughter will make sure they haven't got colds
Hi I've just answered your other post in which you mentioned your chemo's had to be postponed for a couple of weeks. I suppose now you'll happily be able to see your family on your birthday which will be a good thing to cheer you up.
Obviously the main thing is when on chemo you'll be vulnerable to all infections but if your daughter is sensible you should be safe. Read your chemo info leaflets if you've been given any to see what you can and can't do.
If not sure, ring the freephone Macmillan Helpline and speak to a nurse.
Happy birthday for the 7th!
Hugs, Bxx
