Hi went for my first chemotherapy treetment today was sent home had my temperature was high come home went to drs he said I have a water infection got 5 days antibiotics they told me to phone Monday to make another appointment angry now has this happened to anyone else
Hi
Oh so sorry to hear that ! Just when you had yourself all set to go !
However you definitely don’t want to be taking chemo on top of an infection. Much better to take an extra week to sort it out !
My mum had a few bumps along the way with chemo including a wee hospital admission! It was frustrating but they really do know the best way forward with these things and get them sorted out quickly ! You get a much better run at it if you are not dealing with an infection !
Take care ,

Not to bad did your chemo stop at all through an infection
That’s great . A good plan to get to work on those cells !
